International Airport within its 
boundaries,
Flint Township and area travelers are no longer
handicapped by the long trip to Detroit's Metropolitan
Airport. With even more expansion and renovation
under its belt, Bishop offers easy access to
world-wide ports of call to travelers throughout
mid-Michigan.
Bishop Air Cargo has become a major player in
the overnight delivery business. UPS, Federal
Express, Emery Worldwide, Airborne Express and
Genesee Valley Aviation all have headquarters
adjacent to the airport.
Our interchange system includes three major
highways—I-75, I-69 and US-23—which
intersect one mile from Bishop Airport. Additionally,
three major rail lines-Grand Trunk Western,
CSX Transportation, and Central Michigan Railway—intersect
at the township's northern border.

over the next few years. GM Service Parts and
the GM Truck and Bus Center have major warehousing
